Keri Johnsrud
Jazz Vocalist

Chicago-based singer, Keri Johnsrud has a unique and appealing voice. Sweet, clear and understated, but the girl can tinge it with blue more naturally than many of the female vocalist trying for that vein. With strong runs at The Drake Hotel, Pops for Champagne and Vintage Wine Bar, among other premier entertainment venues in the city, she has established herself in the musical community of Chicago. She has earned the respect of her colleagues and become an artist who is shaping that community today.  As an artist, her peers have described her as 'distinct and honest' with the ability to 'tear up your heartstrings', praise that should come as no surprise for someone who enjoys supporting the musical community as much as performing in it.

Marbinmusic

Onion Club and Modern Drummer, among other well known publications. The combination of the experience of these veteran musicians with Markovitch’s and Rabin’s wonderful compositional skills, has resulted in a superlative album very well crafted by the abundant talent and musicianship of these five extraordinary artists.
